Dallas police say a resident fatally shot a suspected burglar early Saturday morning.
Police said a man arrived home to find three men stealing from his house in the 2400 block of Bickers Road shortly before 1:30 a.m.
According to police, the resident opened fire on the men, shooting two of them.
Officers found 17-year-old Keanu Wilson dead on the scene. Michael Allen, 18, was struck and taken to Parkland Hospital in stable condition.
Allen will be charged with burglary and taken into custody after he recovers, police said.
A third burglary suspect ran away. It's unclear if he was hurt.
The resident of the townhouse was questioned, and no charges are pending.
