Clowning right up your dark alley, you think?

Aspirants wishing to join the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown Alley act have the chance to strut their funny stuff during Friday’s Clown College auditions.

Tryouts take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Aug 5, at American Airlines Center.

Applicants should read all about it then register online before hand, then in person bring wicked improv skills, physical and facial β€” with is kind of physical β€” exaggerations, comedic timing, and an ability to perform clown-y duties such as juggling, riding a unicycle, teasing a bull β€” sorry, wrong kind of clown β€” or squeezing into a teeny car with about 28 other killer clowns.

Applicants should not bring clown makeup, clown clothes, a clown nose, or clown shoes. Just wear regular comfy streets.

The Clown College affords that chance to prove wrong all those people β€” the middle school teacher, your mom, your dad β€” who said fooling around in class and that goofy attitude and demeanor of yours would get you nowhere in life, you lag-about you.

Now, get out there and clown your ass off.
