A 4-year-old child has drowned Friday after going swimming at a Frisco neighborhood pool, police say.
Emergency crews were called at about 1 p.m. to the Dominion at Panther Creek HOA pool on Appian Lane, where they said by the time they arrived the girl had already been pulled out of the water.
A witness had initiated CPR on the girl, and then firefighters took over.
She was transported from the scene by medical helicopter to Children's Medical Center of Dallas, where she was pronouced dead.
Frisco police said the drowning remains under investigation but appears to be accidental.
