A San Antonio woman allegedly admitted killing her ex-husband before driving to Dallas with her three children and taking a bunch of pills.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Tracy Devon Brown is accused of confronting her ex-husband Sunday night at his home.
Investigators believe when 34-year-old Victor Brown got to the door -- Tracy Brown shot him through the glass portion of the door.
Sheriff's spokesman Ino Badillo said the man later died at a San Antonio hospital.
Investigators learned that Tracy Brown has family in Dallas and sent information to law enforcement agencies along Interstate 35 -- saying she was wanted for murder.
She later called 911 and turned herself in.
The children -- ages 2, 6 and 13 -- are with Child Protective Services.
