A former Richland High School teacher has been arrested after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Tiffanie Bedinger, 44, was arrested Tuesday and later released after posting a $30,000 bond.
Investigators said they, and the Birdville Independent School District, were first made aware of the alleged offense by the student's family last April.
The relationship was said to have taken place during the 2010-2011 school year.
At this time, no other details about the relationship or investigation have been released.
