Police in Houston said a driver involved in a fender-bender sped away with the other person hanging onto the hood of her car.
KHOU-TV reported that the woman backed into the other driver's car in Houston's Rice Village area early Saturday. The man in the other vehicle tried to stop her from leaving to obtain her information.
Instead, the woman hit the gas and sped away. The man was thrown from the hood and hit his head in the fall.
The man was hospitalized in serious condition.
Authorities are still searching for the woman. They think she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
