Child Missing Near Lake Worth Found Unharmed

A 13-year-old boy who had not been seen for more than 24 hours after leaving home to go fishing at Lake Worth has been found unharmed, officials say.

William Cooper was located at an Albertsons grocery store Monday evening.

Police said the boy's mother called police at about 11 a.m. Monday saying her son went fishing Sunday at about 5 p.m. and did not come home.

Fort Worth police, Lakeside police and other law enforcement agencies searched with boats and dogs near the 9600 block of Watercress Drive, where they said the child's bicycle and jacket were found earlier in the day.[[304172791,L]]
