Lancaster police say they arrested a man they say pulled out a gun while driving on Interstate 35E and aimed it at another driver.
The man, identified Tuesday by police as 49-year-old Joseph Sida, was arrested Tuesday for deadly conduct and was booked into the Tri-City Jail for the alleged incident on $1,000 bond.
In an interview with investigators, police said Sida told them he was acting in self-defense and was in fear of his life.
He said he noticed a woman approaching with something in her hand that he thought was a weapon. The object turned out to be a camera.
The other driver, Victoria Best, posted video of the interaction on Facebook.
"It was really the look on his face that scared me," Best said. "I wasn't sure if I wasn't recording if he would have shot me."

Best said she was driving to work when she noticed the driver in front of her hitting his brakes aggressively. She said it is possible he may have felt she was driving too close to his vehicle.
She said she began to record the man in case he caused a crash and that she did not look toward the driver, and only pointed her phone in his direction, as she passed.
She told NBC 5 she did not know the man had pointed the gun at her until she looked at the video later.
NBC 5's Scott Gordon, Maria Guerrera and Charles Nichelson contributed to this report.
