A family and their five pets are safe after a late-night house fire in Seagoville Wednesday, InForney.com reports.
According to the article, a 20-year-old resident of the home managed to escape the fire only to go back into the home to save three pets.
When firefighters arrived they rescued the remaining two pets while putting out the fire in the back of the home.
It is not clear if any of the other family members were home at the time.
InForney.com reports much of the home suffered damage from fire, smoke and water and that part of the ceiling collapsed.
While officials have not said specifically what started the fire, they have said the fire was accidental.
