Police Charge Man with Fatally Stabbing His Sister's Boyfriend

Dallas police said they're investigating a fatal stabbing after a domestic incident at an apartment complex Thursday night.

Officers were flagged down by a witness in the 1400 block of Conner Drive in Pleasant Grove at 10:59 p.m., police said. The witness told police that two men were fighting in one of the apartments.

The officers entered a woman's apartment and found 68-year-old David Thompson and 55-year-old Randolph Glenn, Jr., struggling, police said. When officers told Glenn to let go of Thompson, Thompson fell to the ground.

Police said Thompson, the woman's boyfriend, had been stabbed several times and was not breathing. They tried to resuscitate him on the way to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, but officials pronounced him dead shortly after arriving.

Officers also took Glenn, the woman's brother, to Baylor for treatment.

After Glenn was discharged, police said they took him to the police station where he refused to speak to detectives. Officers then took him to the Dallas County Jail and charged him with murder.

Police said they're still investigating the cause of the altercation.
