4 Killed in 2 Oklahoma Crashes, Including Texan, Floridian

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four people died in two head-on vehicle collisions in Oklahoma, including three in one crash.

The OHP said Amanda Satoe of Anadarko; Joshua Westerman of Marshall, Texas; and Larry Fitzgerald of Lecanto, Florida, died Tuesday on U.S. 281 near Anadarko, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) southwest of Oklahoma City.

Joseph Ledbetter of Holdenville also died Tuesday in a collision on Highway 66 at Warwick, about 33 miles (53 kilometers) northeast of Oklahoma City.

OHP said an SUV driven by Satoe and carrying Westerman crossed the center line of the highway and collided with a truck driven by Fitzgerald.

OHP said Ledbetter died when his truck crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming pickup. The driver of the pickup is hospitalized in fair condition.
