A woman has died four days after a gas explosion destroyed her Austin home and injured her and another person.
The Bexar County medical examiner's office says 44-year-old Nicole E. Burton died Wednesday at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio of complications from her severe burns.
The identity of a man also injured in the Saturday blast hasn't been disclosed.
Texas Gas Service says a buildup of natural gas from a damaged service line on a neighboring property fueled the explosion. The company says it's still investigating what or who caused the damage.
The blast reduced Burton's home to kindling and sent debris flying into neighboring yards, ripping the siding from an adjacent house.
