February is acknowledged as Black History Month. To commemorate the outstanding contributions made by African Americans in various fields of endeavors, NBC 5, the Multicultural Arts Alliance, and the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will host an art exhibit entitled “Art Past and Present: From a Black Artist's Perspective” now through Thursday, February 21, at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
The exhibit showcases works from established artists Barry G. King and Riley Holloway, along with student artists Aisha Mpiana and Zen White, both seniors at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
