An 12th person has died in Dallas County after contracting West Nile virus.
The patient lived in zip code 75060 and had the neuroinvasive form of the disease, Dallas County Health and Human Services said Monday.
Due to patient confidentiality, no further information is expected to be released.
As of Aug. 24, nearly 300 people have been sickened by West Nile virus in Dallas County. More than 725 have contracted the virus across North Texas this summer.
