Where's the Corporate Outrage About Restricting Women's Health Care?

Corporate America stepped in as our moral compass recently when our politicians failed us. When President Donald Trump's tepid statements fell far short of condemning white supremacists for inciting violence in Charlottesville, chief executives took a stand by resigning from two councils advising the president.Business leaders also took a stand against hate in Texas. Despite the governor's support — and a special legislative session partially focused on a bathroom bill — legislation failed to pass requiring transgender people to use the bathroom corresponding to the sex assigned to them at birth. While LGBT activists were outspoken against the bill, it was corporate opposition that killed the bathroom bill.
