‘We Are Listening': McKinney ISD Continues Dialogue With Community After Teachers Resign Over Anti-gay and anti-Islamic Tweets

Last week, parents and community members packed into a McKinney ISD school board meeting intent on making a point.Some came armed with signs and speeches to defend a fight over the separation of church and state. Others — fueled by the recent discovery anti-Islamic and anti-LGBT tweets by two former middle school teachers — advocated for diversity and inclusion.
