Suspects Flee in Victim's Car After Man, Woman Injured in East Oak Cliff Shootings

A man was in critical condition and a woman suffered a gunshot wound to her arm as she gave three suspects a ride Friday morning in east Oak Cliff.It happened around 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Ann Arbor Avenue, where the second shooting victim, a 51-year-old man, got into the car with the 54-year-old woman and the three suspects, police said.They then drove to the 200 block of East Overton Road, where one of the suspects pulled out a gun, shot the man in the chest and the woman in the arm, police said.The suspects then shoved the woman out of the car and took off in it with the injured man still inside. They abandoned the man back at the Ann Arbor location and drove off.Both victims were taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where the man was in critical condition and the woman had injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. The suspects are still at large, police said. In a separate incident, the 21-year-old son of a Dallas ISD trustee was killed in a shooting a few blocks away on Utah Avenue.
