Possible Illinois Kidnapping Victim Found at Texas Border Patrol Checkpoint

A 17-year-old girl reportedly kidnapped from her home in Illinois was found Tuesday at a Border Patrol checkpoint near Laredo, officials said. Agents working at the checkpoint on Interstate Highway 35 questioned the driver of a red Oldsmobile Alero and passenger on their immigration status, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said. In an interview, the passenger told agents that she was a possible kidnapping victim.
