One of Texas' Most Wanted Sex Offenders Arrested

One of Texas's 10 most wanted sex offenders is in custody after being captured in an Austin suburb Thursday, officials say.Kevin Travis Waddell, 54, was arrested in Del Valle after a tipster notified Texas Crime Stoppers. A reward up to $3,000 will be paid, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.Waddell was convicted in 1992 in Potter County, which includes Amarillo, for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Waddell was released on parole in the mid-1990s and lived in Austin for nearly two decades before becoming a fugitive in September 2015, according to DPS.  Continue reading...
