NBC's TV Stations in D-FW to Share News With Six Entercom Radio Stations

NBC-owned television stations in Dallas-Fort Worth will begin sharing news content with six radio stations owned by Entercom, one of the country's largest radio broadcasters.Under the agreement, KXAS-TV (NBC 5) and KXTX (Telemundo 39) will share news, weather, sports, politics and entertainment content with KRLD-AM (1080), KRLD-FM (105.3 ), KJKK-FM (100.3), KLUV-FM (98.7), KVIL-FM (103.7) and KMVK-FM (107.5). The multiplatform partnership covers the stations' broadcast channels, websites and social media platforms.Executives of both companies lauded the partnership for improving North Texans' access to news for English and Spanish viewers and listeners."We're looking forward to continuing to bring our loyal listeners expanded live coverage of the local topics they care most about," said Brian Purdy, Entercom's regional president and market manager, in a statement.NBC 5 also has a content-sharing partnership with The Dallas Morning News.  Continue reading...
