Cold air is firmly in place this morning across North Texas. While quite cold, this air is also quite shallow. That means it will likely loosen its grip later in the day. However, it will stay chilly this afternoon as clouds develop. Some drizzle may develop tonight.The next chance of rain arrives tomorrow as the next storm system moves into the region. Showers will develop during the day and continue into the evening hours. A few thunderstorms will also be possible Tuesday afternoon and evening ... mainly from DFW to the east.
