Temperatures on Friday again reached the 70s in DFW, before a cold front arrived late in the afternoon. There was a wide range of temperatures ahead of and behind that cold front. North of the front near the Red River it was cooler with highs in the 50s. But south of the front, in central Texas, temperatures reached the 80s.The weekend will be dry, but definitely cooler with highs mostly in the mid to upper 50s.Increasing rain chances and below normal temperatures are expected early next week, with the best chance for rain being on Tuesday.TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and gradually turning colder.
