NBC5 Forecast: Cool & Cloudy Start to the Week

There's a chill in the air across North Texas this morning! Look for plenty of clouds with a low chance of showers this morning and early afternoon. We will struggle to get into the 60s today, with even cooler temperatures to the North of DFW and warmer temperatures south of the area. Low-level moisture will quickly return to North Texas on Tuesday and will collide with fast-moving cold front in the afternoon. That means we may see a few thunderstorms early to mid-Tuesday afternoon. Some storms could have some gusty winds or hail before quickly moving off into eastern and southeastern parts of North Texas. Severe storms will be possible east and southeast of DFW Tuesday afternoon and evening.The front will exit North Texas by early Wednesday with highs in the 60s.
