This morning's round of showers and storms not only gave us some much-needed rain, but it also helped to bring a cold front into and through North Texas. As a result a majority of the area was 15 to 30 degrees cooler today compared to the brutal heat and humidity on Monday.Another round of scattered showers and storms is expected to develop late tonight and continue for part of the day Wednesday. Clouds will help to keep temperatures down in the middle 80s to lower 90s.Although we will gradually warm up the rest of the week, a second cold front arrives Friday night to bring us a reinforcing shot of slightly cooler air just in time for the Labor Day weekend. A third front may also visit us the middle part of next week as well!Latest Forecast TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Low: 74. Wind: NE 5 mph.
