Mixed-use Project on Grapevine Lake Is on the Way in Flower Mound

Developer Greystar - which is building high-rise apartments near downtown Dallas - is starting a new mixed-use development on Grapevine Lake in Flower Mound.The 13-acre project will include apartments, retail and townhouses on Lakeside Parkway.The Elan Flower Mound development was designed by architects Meek + Partners.Already under construction, Greystar's project will have 426 apartments, 40 townhomes and 15,000 square feet of retail space.The rental community will include a pool pavilion, a dog park and fountain plaza.Construction is scheduled to be completed in late 2018."With close proximity to Dallas and Fort Worth, the new Elan Flower Mound community provides residents with upscale mixed-use, living options in a premier location," Ryan Meeks, partner with Meeks + Partners, said in a statement.South Carolina-based Greystar is one of the country's largest operators and builders of apartments.The company just received building permits to start a more than $100 million high-rise apartment and retail project on the east side of downtown Dallas.And Greystar just completed a luxury apartment tower in the Victory Park development in Dallas.  Continue reading...
