Lawmakers Coming Up Woefully Short on pre-K Funding

It was good to see educators, advocates, business leaders and philanthropists come together in Austin last week to put pressure on lawmakers to make quality pre-K funding a priority.A similar scene played out in Dallas recently, with Mayor Mike Rawlings, former police Chief David Brown and others imploring lawmakers to invest in the state's youngest residents.
