Landmark Grapevine Retail Center Gets a Redo

A landmark Grapevine shopping destination is getting a complete makeover.The 2-decade old Grapevine Towne Center has more than 330,000-square-feet and is located on the busy intersection of State Highway 114 and William D. Tate Boulevard.The large retail center is anchored by Target, Ross, Big Lots, Bealls, Office Depot, Jason's Deli, eatZi's and Haltom's Jewelers stores.Dallas-based retail real estate firm Weitzman hired architect Hodges & Associates to redesign the project.Weitzman's Jennifer Chandler, asset manager for the center. "This renovation is adding modern lifestyle elements and pedestrian-friendly features, as well as an updated façade, to ensure that the center's next two decades are as strong as its first," Weitzman's Jennifer Chandler said in a statement.When Grapevine Town Center opened 24 years ago, it was the largest shopping center in the Grapevine area.Weitzman leases and manages the property.  Continue reading...
