‘I'm the Schmuck Who Landed on the Taxiway,' Harrison Ford Said After Buzzing Dallas-bound American Jet

Actor Harrison Ford told an air-traffic controller that he "got distracted" when he buzzed a Dallas-bound American Airlines jet while landing on a taxiway at a Southern California airport in February, according to newly released recordings.The 74-year-old Star Wars and Indiana Jones star flew just over an American Airlines 737 with 116 people aboard at John Wayne Airport near Los Angeles on Feb. 13."Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?" Ford asked as he landed his single-engine Aviat Husky on a taxiway, not the intended runway 20-L. "Oh. I landed on Taxiway Charlie. I understand now.
