Here's When ‘La Vida De Selena,' a Bilingual Children's Book on the Texas Singer, Is Coming

Parents who grew up idolizing Selena Quintanilla-Perez will soon have a lovely bedtime story to read to their children. A bilingual children's book on the Queen of Tejano is set to come out next year and is already gathering a lot of excitement from adoring fans. Authors Patty Rodriguez and Ariana Stein said in an interview with Forbes that they started their company because they see a need for children's books that celebrate Latino culture and bilingualism. Before announcing their Selena board book, the two women had already published books on artist Frida Kahlo, legendary salsa singer Celia Cruz and a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution, Emiliano Zapata.  Continue reading...
