George H.W. Bush Goes Home From Houston Hospital After Treatment for Infection

Former President George H.W. Bush has been discharged from Methodist Hospital after treatment for an infection, his spokesman said Friday evening."His doctors report he is doing well and is happy to return home," Jim McGrath wrote on Twitter. Bush, 93, had been moved out of the intensive-care unit at a Houston hospital Wednesday as he continued to recover from an infection.The former president has been treated for several ailments in recent years, including two hospitalizations for pneumonia in 2017. In 2015, he broke a bone in his neck in a fall, and in late 2014 he spent about a week in a hospital for shortness of breath.  Continue reading...
