Driver Strikes 2 Irving Police Officers on Motorcycles on Highway 161, Flees Scene

A motorist struck two Irving police officers on motorcycles Tuesday morning on State Highway 161 in Irving, police said. Irving police reported the crash on northbound Highway 161, south of State Highway 183, just before 11 a.m. The driver struck the two officers, then drove off, police said.Both officers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and are doing well, officials said.
