Denton Woman Whose Son Was Arrested in Oklahoma Was Beheaded, Documents Show

A 65-year-old woman found dead in a Denton apartment earlier this month was decapitated, according to police documents related to her son's arrest. Isaac Israel Warriner, 22, faces charges of abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence in his mother's death. Denton police found Sarah Warriner's body May 5 in an apartment in the 2400 block of Stockbridge Road, near the Denton Katy Trail. She had been decapitated, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the Denton Record-Chronicle. Police also found a hacksaw thought to have been used in the crime, but her head was not in the apartment, according to the affidavit.The Tarrant County medical examiner's office has not released her cause of death.According to the affidavit, a nurse at a Denton hospital called security on Isaac Warriner days before Sarah Warriner was found dead because he threatened to kill his mother and himself.
