Officials gathered downtown Saturday to dedicate the newly renamed Union Station in honor of U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson.The Dallas Area Rapid Transit board approved the change Tuesday, while also renaming two rail stations in Fort Worth.Dallas leaders lauded Johnson for her service to the state Legislature and Congress."She has worked across the aisle for the betterment of her constituents on aviation, flood control, homelessness, homeland security, law enforcement, science, and, of course, transportation," Mayor Mike Rawlings said.
