Cook Shot in Thigh as Three Suspects Steal Cash Register at Fort Worth Restaurant

A cook was shot in the thigh and a cash register was stolen after three men broke into a restaurant Wednesday night in Fort Worth, police said.It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 14100 block of Trinity Boulevard near DFW International Airport.According to police, three men entered the restaurant through a back entrance, shot one cook and robbed another. The suspect who shot the cook then took the cash register and the three fled through the back entrance.The shooting victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
