Colleyville Fire Burns Down Italian Restaurant, Mortgage Office

A raging fire burned down an Italian restaurant and a mortgage office Thursday afternoon in Colleyville. The roof of the building at 35 Village Lane caught fire about 12:30 p.m., city spokeswoman Erin Spicer said. Though no injuries were reported, the building was determined to be a total loss, according to Spicer.The first floor was the location of Ruggeri's Italian Restaurant, which has been open since 2003. Cory Ramsey, who worked in the second-floor mortgage office that his father opened, went to investigate a "funky smell" when the fire broke out.   Continue reading...
