Authorities rescued a man overnight who fell down a significant drop into a creek in north Oak Cliff. The man was walking home, near the intersection of West Clarendon and Nolte Drives, about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. He tumbled down a nearly 40 foot drop on a wooded embankment, into a creek, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reports. An urban search and rescue team went down and pulled him to safety.
