Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of Fort Worth Drag Show Performer

Police arrested a man in connection with the death of a Fort Worth drag show performer who was gunned down last week in a home near Texas Christian University.Fayaka Dunbar, 26, was arrested Tuesday and is facing a capital murder charge, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call around 9 a.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Rogers Avenue. Jason Bradley, 35, was killed in the shooting and another man was wounded, according to the Star-Telegram.The Tarrant County medical examiner's office ruled that Bradley died from a gunshot wound to the torso.Bradley, who went by the name Bianca Gisele Davenport Starr, was a performer at the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth and the 1851 Club in Arlington, according to their Facebook pages. "The heavens have gained another angel in Ms. Bianca Gisele Davenport Starr. She will always be a shining star in our eyes and will be greatly missed by so many. We were blessed to have you as a part of the 1851 Club family," the Arlington club wrote on their Facebook page.Bradley was named Miss Dallas Pride 2017 and Miss Texas State At Large 2017, according to the Dallas Voice.
