A flurry of reports, which surfaced on a number of websites yesterday, linking Cowboys' rookie receiver Dez Bryant to female rapper Trina (pictured here with Silkk the Shocker) are untrue, according to Bryant's advisor David Wells. Wells refuted the claims on Thursday, adding that Bryant is in a committed relationship with the mother of his second child, who arrived in late June.
"There is no truth to the rumors that Dez Bryant is dating rapper Trina," Wells said, per a report on ESPNDallas.com. "Dez is very much in love with long-time partner, Ilyne Nash, with whom he is looking forward to building a home.
"Additionally, as a proud new father of Dez Bryant Jr., it is important for him to defend the bond within his family,"
If the rumors, which were spurred on by a photo of the two at a nightclub, were true, Bryant would be in good company in Dallas's locker room as the boyfriend to a celebrity girlfriend.
Tony Romo had well-documented flings with songbirds Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood, and Miles Austin is, reportedly anyway, currently dating reality star and so-called celeb-utante Kim Kardashian.
