Dallas Agrees To Terms With S Owusu-Ansah

The Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms on a four-year deal on Monday with rookie defensive back Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, his agent Nate Haber announced Monday morning, via his Twitter page.

Owusu-Ansah, a fourth round pick out of division II Indiana (Pa.), will likely be used as a safety, and possibly a return man. The rookie is a gifted young athlete, judging by all reports--he recorded the fastest 40 time at Ohio State's pro day--but a pre-draft shoulder procedure has kept him off the field for the entirety of the team's off-season workouts.

Indeed, due to the shoulder surgery, he may be limited early on in camp, as well.

Pending a signing, this leaves four Cowboys' draft picks unsigned, including first rounder Dez Bryant and second rounder, inside linebacker Sean Lee. As we pointed out earlier, Dallas has already begun negotiations with Bryant. Sixth rounder Sam Young and seventh rounder Sean Lissemore have already signed with the team.

The Cowboys report to San Antonio for training camp on Friday.
