Cowboys Looking At WR Raymond Radway, Too

Radway came very close to making the 53-man roster out of camp a year ago

The Dallas Cowboys are spending part of their bye week auditioning folks for the roster spot left open when they released cornerback LeQuan Lewis, and they’re apparently leaning toward someone who’s familiar with the comings and goings at Valley Ranch.

We posted earlier about the team giving cornerback Bryan McCann--who is (a) an SMU product and (b) a former Cowboy--a try-out, and now, the team is giving former receiver/speed demon deluxe Raymond Radway another look.

If you remember, the Abilene Christian University product had a very real shot at the 53-man roster in training camp a year ago, but suffered a compound leg fracture with just three seconds left in the team’s exhibition matchup with the Miami Dolphins. After the injury, Radway was placed on injured reserve, and we haven’t heard from him since.

Until Friday, that is, when Radway returned to Valley Ranch to work out for Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones and co.
