The new series of "Dallas" premieres tonight  -- and what better place to watch than Dallas?

Two theaters in Dallas are having free screenings of the new TNT series which premieres at 8 p.m.

The Dallas Film Commission and South Side Studios are hosting the official Dallas watch party at the Texas Theatre (231 West Jefferson Boulevard). There will be reserved seating for local cast, crew, and VIPs, but the rest of the theatre is first come, first serve so get there early to get a good seat.

The Angelika Dallas (5321 East Mockingbird Lane, Suite 230) will also be playing Dallas live on the big screen.

Plano's Convention and Visitor's Bureau is hosting a private watch party at Southfork Ranch, the fictional home of The Ewings, tonight as well.

Southfork says the show is bringing in a larger number of tourists, even before the show airs.

Dallas City Council is also considering additional tax breaks for filming more episodes of the series in it's namesake city, should the series continue.
