CLOSING CEREMONY
The Olympic flame has been extinguished and the Rio Games are over.
During Sunday's closing ceremony, singer Mariene de Castro was showered water that resembled rain, which put out the Olympic cauldron's flames.

Moments later, fireworks shot from the top of Rio de Janiero's Maracana Stadium and samba singers brought the crowd inside to their feet.
Earlier, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach declared the Rio Games over and the Olympic flag was formally handed over to the governor of Tokyo, which will host the 2020 Summer Games.
US MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM IS GOLDEN
The U.S. Olympic men's basketball team won its third straight gold medal and did it easily, beating Serbia 96-66.
With the win, the Americans claim the final medal of the Rio Games.
After a few close calls earlier in the tournament, this was no contest. University of Texas alum Kevin Durant scored 30 points and helped the U.S. jump out to a huge lead by halftime.
It was the final game for Mike Krzyzewski, who took the Americans back to the top and leaves with them there after becoming the first coach to win three Olympic gold medals.
Carmelo Anthony also picked up his third gold to go with a bronze, becoming the most decorated male in Olympic basketball history. He got emotional in a post-game interview saying it was his final Olympics.
Serbia lost only 94-91 to the U.S. during pool play but was barely in the game again after a close first quarter.
MEN’S BASKETBALL BRONZE MEDAL GAME
Sergio Rodriguez made two free throws with 5.4 seconds left and the Spaniards, who captured silver in 2008 at Beijing and the London Games, got the defensive stop they needed as Australia fumbled the ball away on its last possession.
Gasol and his teammates celebrated by piling on top of each other near center court. This wasn't the medal they wanted, but they'll take it.
For the Aussies, it's more Olympic heartbreak. Several players were in tears after Australia finished fourth for the fourth time.
Patty Mills scored 30 and David Anderson 15 for the Aussies, who played almost the entire second half without Andrew Bogut. The 7-footer fouled out less than two minutes into the third quarter.
US VOLLEYBALL MEN WIN BRONZE
Ranked fifth in the world, the Americans won 23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-13. Matt Anderson spiked for match point against the stunned Russians.
The Americans linked arms in a tight circle and hopped in celebration as the crowd chanted "U-S-A!" The victory came the day after the U.S. women's team also won the Olympic bronze medal.
The United States has three gold medals in men's volleyball, most recently in the 2006 Beijing Games. The Americans won the bronze in Barcelona in 1992.
Russia had three bronze medals in the sport. The perennial powerhouse has won four gold medals and three silvers since the sport joined the event in 1964.
CLARESSA SHIELDS FIGHTS FOR BACK-TO-BACK OLYMPIC GOLD
Claressa Shields had Olympic gold around her neck and a secret keepsake in her warmup jacket pocket. She reached in her pocket, pulled out her first gold from London and slipped the medal over her head.
Two Olympics, two gold medals.
She beamed as she held the medals in her hands for the fans to see -- a sparkling reminder that she stood atop the medal stand not only as the best in the world in her class, but as the only American two-time boxing gold medalist.
"I'm going to let the world know and they'll never forget that I have two Olympic gold medals," she said. "Just in case anybody had any questions."
