Authorities said the men kicked in the door of a house on the 400 block of East 9th Street at 12:57 a.m. and forced the woman to leave.

The men also stole a TV and other items, according to investigators. Officers found some of the items down the street from the house.

Police said they set up a perimeter and searched the area for the men and woman with K-9 units and a helicopter.

Authorities said the woman called police from a Shell gas station near the intersection of U.S. 175 and St. Augustine Drive and that she walked there after the men released her at about 4:30 a.m.

Investigators have not released a description of the men involved in the abduction and robbery and added the victim and witnesses have not been entirely forthcoming in their statements about the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
