Wife of Teacher Accused of Murder Arrested: FWPD

The wife of a Fort Worth teacher accused of murder has been arrested, police say.

Tiffany Heath was arrested Thursday for tampering with physical evidence.

On Monday, her husband, 35-year-old Cary Joseph Heath, was arrested at Permenter Middle School in Cedar Hill, where he is employed as a teacher.

He was charged with capital murder after two bodies were found shot to death outside a house on Buffalo Springs Drive.

Officers said Daniel Haros and Phillip Evans stopped by a neighbor's Halloween party and briefly chatted with Cary Heath, who lives a few doors down.

According to an arrest warrant, the conversation was "friendly and cordial."

But for some reason, Heath โ€“ an Air Force veteran and father of four โ€“ later got an assault rifle and shot both men, police said.

He later told his wife he had just "killed two people" and asked her to clean the blood in his gun safe, police said.

Tiffany Heath was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail. Her bond is set at $5,000.
