Authorities said a rock truck hit a bridge on Texas 121 in Melissa, shutting the road down Thursday morning. [[322384432,C]]
Collin County authorities said the truck was traveling on Texas 121 just before 5 a.m. when it struck the Texas 5 bridge.
Crews closed parts of both roads along with U.S. 75 to clean the debris. U.S. 75 has since reopened.
As of 7:15 a.m., Texas 121 remains closed as Texas Department of Transportation officials inspect the bridge. There is no word yet when the road will reopen.
No injuries have been reported.
