A school bus carrying a special needs student from the Mesquite Independent School District rolled over on I-635 Monday morning.
It happened on northbound I-635 at Oates Drive before 9 a.m.
According to preliminary reports police said the accident on northbound I-635 at Oates Drive involved the bus, an 18-wheeler and a car before 9 a.m.
Police said it appears the bus was clipped and rolled several times before ending up on its side in the grass on the shoulder.
There was one kindergarten student on the bus with the driver and an aide, they were on their way to a special education facility in Garland at the time of the accident, according to Mesquite Police.
Mesquite police said the boy was was transported to Children's Hospital as a precaution, police said he did not appear to be injured.
The two adults were also taken to Baylor Medical Center as a precaution.
Police blocked the left lane of northbound I-635.
