A 14-year-old Sachse High School student is going to the Super Bowl.

Tiana West wrote the winning essay for a contest sponsored by NFL Hall-of-Famer Troy Aikman and Verizon Wireless. She and her father got to meet the former Dallas Cowboy on Monday at the NFL Experience in Dallas and won two tickets to Super Bowl XLV.

The topic of the essay contest was teamwork. West wrote about how her family worked together to help her father, after he was diagnosed with kidney disease.

"I'm very excited. I mean, I haven't been to a Super Bowl and I always wanted to go to Cowboys Stadium, so it's pretty awesome," West said.

Three other Texas teenagers have each won a football helmet autographed by Aikman and a Motorola Droid phone.
