Purse-Snatching Suspects Identified: Police

Dallas police said thanks to extensive media coverage they have identified the two people wanted in a violent purse-snatching caught on camera.

Dallas robbery detectives said after they released the surveillance video they received numerous tips and leads and have issued aggravated robbery warrants for Javier Duenas, 19, and Thelma Delao, 20.

Now police need the public's help again, finding Duenas and Delao. Police note that Duenas no longer has the design in his hair.

In the videotaped purse-snatching on March 29, Adriana Ibarra, 25, can be seen fighting but failing to keep her bag as she's dragged along a parking lot.

The footage shows the pair driving to the lot in the 1800 block of Royal Lane, getting out and approaching Ibarra. She is seen getting something out of the back seat of her car when she is attacked.

Police said the man in the video had a knife, and the woman carried a tire jack as she removed a laptop from the trunk of Ibarra's car.

The video shows Ibarra being dragged through the parking lot as she struggles to hold on to her bag.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects, just call the tip line at 1-877-373-TIPS (8477).
