Prenuptial Agreement Will Stand in Sanders Divorce

Pilar Sanders' attorneys claimed prenup was partially forged

The prenuptial agreement between Deion and Pilar Sanders will stand. The arbitrator in their divorce confirmed both of them signed the agreement.

Pilar Sanders' attorneys claimed the document was partially forged. The ruling settles the division of property between the estranged couple as spelled out in the agreement.

A Collin County judge also ruled Deion Sanders does not have to pay any more child support, that's because a jury ruled the couple will have joint conservatorship of their daughter and he would be the sole conservator of their two sons.

Conservators have the right to make decisions for the children, such as their primary residence, education and extracurricular activities. However, the court determines visitation rights.

Next, the pair must finalize their divorce.

Divorce drama extends for more than a year

Deion Sanders announced his split from Pilar Sanders on Facebook in December 2011.

Since then, both sides have argued over everything from the prenuptial agreement to alleged assaults and criminal mischief, child support payments and child custody.

NBC 5's Ray Villeda, Catherine Ross, Kendra Lyn and Randy McIlwain contributed to this report.
