Houston police say a man has stabbed his 16-month old son before fatally stabbing the family dog.
Officers said the attack happened Monday at a home in southwest Houston. The father was taken into custody after police say he resisted arrest. No charges have been reported and his name hasn't been released.
The child was hospitalized after being stabbed in the head and arm. His condition is unclear.
Police haven't said what weapon was used or what caused the incident.
